WHAT IF I’M NOT A SALESPERSON?
This is an objection I can personally relate to, as I have never been in sales (I am a former textile/industrial engineer) and my only experience in network marketing or sales is my current job.

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE TIME FOR A BUSINESS?
I understand how you feel. I felt the same way when I got started. I was heavy in the trenches of being a mom to two little (and busy) humans, fearing a return to Corporate America and working this business very, very part time. But that’s not uncommon. We’ve found that most people work this business in very part time hours – working it into your everyday life on your own time, on your own terms! Starting with just about 10-15 hours per week, I was able to build a very sustainable business.
“BUT, I DON’T WANT TO BUG MY FRIENDS!”
“I don’t want to bug my friends!” Thank goodness! But that’s not what we do at all. I don’t want you to bug your friends and family either! That is not what I do. I share what I’m doing & pick their brains to see if there’s anyone they know this would be great for. I find what people have a need for and then I try to fill that need whether it be with our product, or a need for extra income. I simply use a referral approach, asking them whom they know! Sometimes they identify themselves! We do that all the time—asking for referrals for babysitters, dry cleaners, etc.. As an Introvert, I can tell you that talking to people in general is not my cup of tea, but credibility comes from those who aren’t trying to sell, but share something.
WHAT IF I DON’T KNOW ENOUGH PEOPLE?
“I don’t know anyone!”, or “I don’t have a large network!”, or “I don’t know anyone I can share this with!” These are all very common and valid objections. When I started my business I was a shy, living month-to-month, stay at home mom and recently retired from a Corporate Engineering career. I didn’t have a large network–most of my friends were young like me! Through personal and professional development I was able to establish a network, make new friendships (the most rewarding part of my business). Through our profession and proven system, I was able to expand my network and not only meet new customers, and consultants, but also new friends!
IS THIS A PYRAMID SCHEME?
This is by far my most favorite question that I receive! Let’s talk a little bit about network marketing (direct sales). In 2012 Network Marketing did over $167 Billion Dollars as an Industry, and we get to share in the profits! (Compare that to the NFL at $9.5 Billion, and the Movie Industry at $80 Billion!) The Direct Selling Association recently celebrated its 100 year anniversary, proving it to be a timeless and true business model. First off, a pyramid scheme is ILLEGAL. And, I want no part in that. In a pyramid scheme, no material or tangible products are sold or exchanged. In order to make money in a pyramid, the “low man on the totem pole” makes the money and it flows upward to the top of the pyramid. The top of the pyramid doesn’t have to work and just makes money off their downline. Our business requires everyone to do their part. Also, in a pyramid, the “low man” can NEVER surpass the top of the pyramid. In this business, the sky is the limit. Even if you started yesterday, you can surpass people who have been in the same business for years.
